Polyurethane casting/molding is used to create custom parts in various industries, whether that entails size, hardness, color, etc.
The urethane casting process begins with a custom, or standard mold that can be made from aluminum, silicone, 3D printing, or steel. The urethane is then cast into the mold using a CNC urethane machine. After, it then moves into a high temperature oven where the urethane is closely monitored as it hardens and forms to the mold.
This method is not only inexpensive, but also quick and efficient compared to alternative products. Urethane casting also allows the addition of threaded or other metal components during the casting process.
