Urethane gears and sprockets are quiet, economical, long-lasting alternatives to the traditional forms of these products. In addition, like most urethane products, color, hardness, and size customization is available. Cost effectiveness, service life, and credentials like being FDA approved make it the advantageous choice.

From large equipment, to toy sized products, spur gears have been used all over. Usually made using a compression style molding.
Used for extreme environments, these are available with a steel core for heavy duty applications.
Custom cast to produce a chemical resistant gear.
Usually found in two styles. More commonly found is a rack and pinion polyurethane gear setup allows the gears to travel horizontally or vertically. There is also a ring and pinion system which increases torque and allows 90 degree output shafts.
Common in the food industry, when a worm gear rotates, the low section will cut a given item to a predetermined length while also driving the conveyor assembly.
More commercially available than injected plastics gears.
