Polyurethane Molding

Cast Polyurethane, also known as urethane molding, is made from urethane and a curative. The two are heated and mixed, and casted to create a heated mold. The combination of the two chemicals form a stronger bond called a thermoset compound. 

This new thermoset compound is stronger than thermoplastics and rubbers because of the combination process.  

Urethane works as a great mold because it can adapt into any shape and form. The urethane can either become a solid, hard piece or a soft texture. The adaptability of polyurethane makes it a great candidate for producing long lasting, quality parts.  

Polyurethane molding is a great way to manufacture large quantities of parts because it can produce thousands of molded parts every day.
